Adjustable Objective (AO)

Also known as: Front Focus, AO Ring. A feature on some riflescopes where the front objective lens assembly can be rotated to adjust for parallax at different ranges. While effective, it requires the shooter to reach forward to the front of the scope, which can be less convenient than a side focus knob.
