Coatings (Lens Coatings)

Also known as: Anti-Reflective Coatings, Multicoatings. Thin layers of material applied to lens surfaces to reduce light reflection and increase light transmission, thereby improving image brightness, contrast, and color fidelity. Different levels of coating (e.g., fully multi-coated) indicate the number of surfaces treated.
