Exit Pupil

Also known as: Eyebox (related concept). The diameter of the disc of light that emerges from the ocular lens and enters the shooter's eye. Calculated by dividing the objective lens diameter by the magnification, a larger exit pupil provides a brighter image and easier eye alignment.
