Night Vision Device (NVD)

Also known as: NVG, Night Vision Goggle. An optoelectronic device that enhances ambient light, typically in the visible and near-infrared spectrum, to create a visible image in low-light conditions. It uses an image intensifier tube to multiply available photons.
