Second Focal Plane (SFP)

Also known as: Rear Focal Plane. A reticle placement where the reticle physically resides behind the erector system, meaning its apparent size remains constant regardless of magnification. Holdover and ranging marks are only accurate at a specific magnification, usually the highest power.
